I enjoyed a tea at this cafe which is located inside the Burberry store so it is nice to go shopping as well as stopping off for something to eat and drink. It’s a pretty little cafe with beautiful flowers to see and light furniture making the space light and easy going. This is the perfect spot to rest whilst shopping or having a catch-up or day out. I tried the ginger tea which was nice to see on the menu, it was lovely with fresh pieces of ginger and so would definitely visit again and like to try some of the food selections or other drinks as well.
My father came to visit me in London and while we were trying to escape from Regent Street’s crowdedness we found Thomas’s Caf in Vigo Street. It is true and well-known that the caf within Burberry’s store was named as the founder Thomas Burberry and that it would make my dad’s wallet cry, however, it seemed the appropriate place to celebrate his lovely visit. Who says the city center is made of tourists’ traps, never came to Thomas’s Caf. I must confess we were received with great sympathy and exceptional manners, and if there is something my father appreciates is excellent customer service. As for the menu, we chose several bites. I highly recommend the cheese croquettes, the glazed baby sausages, and the garden vegetables with smoked aubergine. We drank Irish cider and we spoiled ourselves with a custard tart.Thoma’s has become our London secret corner, whenever my father comes to visit me we do not miss a lunch or dinner together there. If you are looking for a more sheltered meal from the limelight I advise the top floor, it is great for long conversations or endless stories.
The perfect luxe place for a mid shopping coffee or tea break. Situated inside the Burberry regent street store, its ambience is very serene as compared to the chaotic everything outside. Loved the coffee here will definitely visit again.Aakriti Chopra
