I have been set in the middle of the hall in order to take full attention of waiter. Its coffee (Americano with milk) doesn’t leave a dry taste in my tongue. That’s why I like. The restaurant is an escape point from traffic jam and noise street in Piccadilly. I would like to taste dine time services.
Nice enough place. Cute interior, especially the take away area. Friendly staff. I was sitting at a corner table and was a bit difficult getting the waiters attention. Had the continental breakfast. It was good. The fruit salad was great. I attempted to get some work done but it was extremely loud and boisterous. Not a work friendly place or somewhere you’d go for peace and quiet but a nice place to meet up with friends.
Great seating options: quiet sophisticated booths, sunny, lively cafe tables, or outdoor seats. Grrrrrrrreat food – fish n chips were probably the best I’ve ever had (granted I’m from the States, so that’s not saying much) but the spinach sweet potato galette was also top notch, and we just came from Paris. Fast, friendly service and lots of delicious pastries, plus a flower shop by the front door. Honestly can’t think of any improvements.
Went for lunch. Ordered C focaccia but was not correctly ordered. Had to wait a longtime for a small sandwich on a Sunday – was not even very busy. Would try it once again. Again not too much veg choice.
Villandry is a great option for a quick lunch or a nice dinner. The cakes and pastries are awesome and the dinner menu offers up decent bistro dishes. Overall, a decent and reliable place
