The Folkestone Academy's professional training kitchen and exclusive thirty seat restaurant, Room 213 is run by NVQ students who prepare, cook and serve high quality food to members of the general public three days a week. The ultra modern kitchen is state of the art, with students working to exceptionally high standards where only the finest ingredients are used. Room 213 is a model of excellence and offers exceptional training in the field of Hospitality and Catering. Since the restaurant opened in September 2007, many of the students on the Catering course have achieved outstanding accolades in national and professional competitions, supported all the way by their team of dedicated tutors.
