Firstly, absolutely outstanding food – this is not just another Indian restaurant. There’s some really creative vegetarian options I’ve never even seen in another curry house – try the Mogo Masala, the Vegetable Manchurian and their amazing range of Paneer dishes. Aromas also has the best dahl I’ve ever had anywhere, and great attention to flavour and presentation of every dish; it’s amazing value even for east of East London.The service is warm and friendly and they listen to feedback and genuinely appreciate their customers. I also love their charming and enthusiastic presence on social media. Seriously, go to Aromas if you’re anywhere near Forest Gate or even Stratford. It’s superb value and the food is to die for.

Main course of chicken curry and butter chicken was yummy and flavoursome, and the garlic naan bread was just best ever. Price was very reasonable. This will be my regular indian takeaway.
