Small, imitate and charming, Figs and Pistachio is your prototypical local cafe serving a delightful selection of sandwiches, cakes, tea and coffee.Food here is homely to say the least and prepared with a level of care which is noticeable. Even something as unassuming as a feta and pepper quiche tastes rather fantastic no less because proper consideration has been given to a good pastry to filling ratio. Located at the top of Kirkdale Road in between Forest Hill and Sydenham, it is a great little venue to park up for a breather and watch time past you by as you tuck into your well deserved meal.
