Not much to say about this place apart from poor disinterested staff serving up sub standard food which is obviously just tasteless fatty reheats. I’m not expecting a la carte when i go to frankie and benny’s but they could at least show some semblance that they care about what they bring to the customers table and not serve lukewarm food which has obviously been sitting around while they finish their own personal conversations.
The experience on Frankie and Bennys was disappointing because I have booked a table for three persons and upon my arrival on time they told me the table was not ready yet and they told me to wait another 5 minutes. After 10 minutes the table was still not ready and unfortunately I had to cancel my reservation.
Been to a fee Frankie & Benny’s, one of my fave places to divulge into some big portions. For the 1st time I ordered a calzone and it was soo soo tasty! Definitely recommended and the romford staff was very good although I believe they were lacking in staff numbers as requests took a bit long to sort out
Frankie and Bennys is a well known chain obviously. I haven’t been in many as my experiences are also so poor I generally won’t go back. Romford is no exception It is in a convenient location in the brewery by the cinema and in my option that is basically all it has going for it. Salads old and floppy. Meats and fries are soggy and greasy. The restaurant crammed and hard to get around as well as dark and dingy. I’m not sure who keeps going here but I think tastebuds aren’t an issue for them. One good thing about having a birthday party in a dine out restaurant is that it eases you of the energy sapping task of having to prepare the food. Last October, I was at Frankie and Bennys with some friends to celebrate a friends birthday. The ambiance was good, the food was okay. I had F&B meatballs which is a pasta meal comprising of pork and beef meatballs in stewed tomatoes loaded on spaghetti. The meatballs were delicious but the tomato sauce tasted bland which made the spaghetti less enjoyable. Their services were quite fast and their staffs were really friendly.
