This place will never die!!. As far back as I can remember, the Gingham Kitchen has always been there, and I can see it being arround for a lot longer to come.The Gingham Kitchen has also, amazingly, remained exactly the same for 20 years. The chairs, the lighting, the menus, look exactly how I remember it from being a kid.But what makes it so good? The closest competitor I can think of is Wimpy, but unlike a Wimpy, the Gingham has a very varied menu. From Grills to Salads, Italian to Chilli, prety much anything you could possibly want is on the menu. And some of it is quite simply bonkers. Chilli Con Carne with chips!! Madness.I believe this steadfast refusal to change, varied menu, and slightly different take on normal food will mean The Gingham is here for anther 20 years.
