Soothing – this is the right word for the interiors of this place. With just the right services and aura , this place is quite famous amongst all the age groups in Newcastle.Being a vegetarian my personal favorite is the gigantic family naam with paneer curry. Typical Punjabi Asian food lovers will be diappointed with the Dal Makhani they offer. It is nothing like the dhabba style Dal Makhani but more of a sweet sauce and pulse mixture.Don’t forget to try the desserts and grab the mint chocolate before you leave.

Not a bad eatery for Newcastle considering you don’t get many good places to eat out in this city.Ambience is fair and the place is quite popular with locals. Good place to witness how mainstream the curry culture has developed in the UK when you see diners from non sub continent backgrounds savoring their meals. They have a great selection of England’s adaption of the traditional curries with their diverse range of Balti curries.Loved the presentation of their signature Naans on a stand fit for a king reminiscing of medieval chivalry. Their stuffed cheese and mince Naans are a must try.Another great take was their interesting selection of curries with a variety of different meats in one dish, I mean how often do you have a curry with a combo of prawns, chicken and other stuff cooked in one pot and then served.Definitely a place worth revisiting thanks for a delectable meal and a good night out!

Food is always decent but if you book on a Friday/Saturday, be prepared to wait 45 minutes at the bar upon arrival. Happened everytime we’ve booked a table, which really should not be the case otherwise it is pointless booking. Not the cheapest Indian food around
