The best meal I’ve ever had in my life!. I was brought to this restaurant with a friend and I was apprehensive because I’d never had Japanese before.Since I’d never had this food before my friend ordered for me, he ordered ‘Northern Pork Dumplings with Ramen Noodles in Soup’ for himself and ‘Beef Shin with Ramen Noodles in Soup’ for me and some ‘Tuna Sashimi’ for us to share.In short this meal was unexpectedly the best I’ve had in my life, the food was perfect, I honestly couldn’t fault a thing.Will be going back again very soon.
My Worst Ever Meal. This visit started badly and went downhill from then on. Firstly, as a solo diner I was led to a small table at the rear of the dining room. This was so dark that I couldn’t read the menu. I asked to sit near the window but was refused as these empty tables were for groups only ! I really should have left there and then as worse was to follow. When my meal arrived it was in a black bowl which was then placed on my black table. At this point I was struggling to see what I was eating. However, I soon found out when I placed the beef in my mouth. It was so gristly and fat that I almost vomited. To add insult to injury, I was then humiliated by the staff offering me a fork, inferring that my chopstick skills were somewhat lacking. A truly woefull experience all round.
