  Clean and well kept Qumins suprised us with the Tandoori mixed grill which had onne each of a chicken tikka lamb sheekh tandoori chicken leg. The grill came in a sizzler and was delicious. The accompanying naan was outstanding.The rogan josh was mild while the parantha was more of a fried bhatura(a fried bread) rather than the parantha which is a layered bread.Clean restrooms and a spotless restaurant. Kudos to the management.

  Qumins enjoys the most amazing location in Oxford, in St.Clements. I remember I had to wait for a cool 15 minutes on a weekend to get a table for two. I was with a friend from Florence who wanted to try some authentic Indian food. We went for the poppadums with dips which were quite nice and crunchy and it was nice to have something to munch on while having a conversation! For the main course we went for some butter nun and a chicken curry, the flavours were mild and I found the seasoning was not right according to me, but I think people usually don’t like strong spicy flavours out here. Ambience is nice and a table is rather hard to find. Overall it’s a nice place to hang out and try out Indian food but not authentic Indian food for sure.

  Very disappointed. Very dissapointed with our meal and the service this evening. My flatmates and I ordered takeaway to be delivered and were not given an estimate on when it would be delivered. The area in which we live in has poor mobile coverage and I made sure that I put my phone in an area of the flat so that I could receive the incoming call to meet the driver, anxiously awaiting the phone call as they had not told us about how long the wait would be. I received a very irate text message from the delivery driver to come to the door immediately. When I was in the middle of responding, I received a phone call from him telling me to come outside immediately. When I finally did go outside, I was yelled at by the man in which he consistently berated me with rude questions. When I tried to offer my apologies, as I know he’s very busy, he continued to yell at me in a very hostile manner. While my food was fine, my flatmates were underwhelmed with their vegetarian sides. Will not be ordering from Qumins again, and advise everyone else to stay away.
