We love going here for the odd beer most weeks. Friendly staff and a wide choice of drinks. This is a locals pub but everybody is very welcome and it has a good, proper pub atmosphere.
We stopped for dinner and a cold beer. Unfortunately meals are not served in the evening so we stayed for some drinks before heading to another restaurant. Nice and cosy outside with good beers to choose from. Service was very good.
Never used to come in under old management but Helen has made the boars head so much more welcoming, all the staff are lovely, really friendly place!
We have always liked the Boars and the new managers have made it very pleasant. Love to sit out the front with a cold one watching the town go by.
Great staff, so much more welcoming now than it was under old management. Good selection of gins and spirits, nice pint, great food. Perfect pub.
