Very special evening. We went to heens first time for Chinese New year after we could not get in last year.We had the set dinner for three and our veggie guest order seperatly from the menu, I think she had a vegetarian Duck dish!!We loved the steamed prawn dumplings and really enjoyed the whole meal, very tasty, and decent selection and portions.It was very busy, but they coped very well ( saturday night )The chinese dancers were fantastic, highly reccomended evening next year.I would put this restaurant as a higher class than the standard chinese restaurant.We’ve ordered in takeaways since, and will be booking for next special occasion, our new local chinese restaurant!
Even though, technically by…. I am extremely dissapointed with this establishment and would strongly advise to avoid it. The food was of an average quality but was very overpriced and the service was dreadful! Firstly, they stated the price list was online but charged me more than the price listed on the online menu and claimed the menu was out of date. Secondly they refused to take payment by credit card unless they were delivering to my home address and asked me to collect? (I wouldn’t have asked for delivery if I had time to collect) thirdly they delivered food with out any cutlery even though I had requested it and finally they put prawn crackers with my sesame toast even though I specified I am a strict vegetarian (no fish)! Avoid!!!
