We only popped in for a little late afternoon snack but were mightily impressed. Nice airy space and already quite busy at 18:00.The two of us shared the fried aubergine with date molasses and feta. A generous mound of aubergine fries for $7 were beautifully balanced in both flavor and texture. Aubergine cut like chips had been dredged in cornmeal and then deep fried. They were bone dry and light, not at all greasy. Drizzled with sweet date molasses, sitting in a pool of salty pureed feta and sprinkled with chopped mint. We immediately made a dinner reservation for later on in the month.
