I’ve enjoyed lunch at Cabbages and Kings on 2 separate occasions now, and would thoroughly recommend the venue. Simple but tasty light lunches, but their piece de resistance are the amazing home made cakes. Superb and some unusual flavours.
Really enjoyed this afternoon. Had afternoon tea for two, the food was very good indeed. Too much to eat so boxed up the leftovers to take home. Service was very attentive, very helpful staff. Such a shame the place is closing down.

Gorgeous shop/cafe in Halstead Village. So happy to find a place that had a choice of gluten free delicious cakes. Sadly, too late for lunch so will definitely visit again. Lots of lovely things to buy in the shop too. Friendly staff. Great place.
