After a brief wait, we settled down outside for a crisp winters Sunday breakfast. The service was efficient, warm and casual. Something you become familiar when it is an Aussie at the helm. The coffee brew was exceptionally well made. The flavour from the mix of various beans was something special. The half boiled eggs were perfectly done along with a Small T cosy keeping one warm, whilst you had the other. Enjoyed it.
Best coffee I’ve had in London. Went back for a second and third cup. Awesome and efficient service. Naturally, was unsurprised to learn the place is owned by an Aussie.
A cosy cafe tucked away in a quiet lane. Light and airy space and great staff and service. A great place for a quiet coffee and a book – I wished that my eggy soldiers would never end.
Kid friendly, unfortunately. Great coffee, but local parents ruin the atmosphere by cramming in their prams full of screaming little monsters. Shame.
Great coffee, hit and miss food. Every cup of coffee i have had here has been perfect. A great flat white and expressos. The food looks fantastic, but does not always deliver. Cupcakes are quite dry and tasteless, but the muffins are amazing ( i am assuming because they are probably fresh and made on the premises?). Sandwiches are tasty, but the home made baked beans were slightly better than from a can. Still not sold, and as it is not exactly cheap, i will probably just stick to the coffee.
Cute little cafe run by New zealanders. Great array of cakes and awesome coffee.
Musical chairs!. Great coffee. Awful service.Picked a quiet Wednesday morning for a coffee at Ginger and White’s. Pretty busy in there but turnover on seats.Interrupted on the phone by obtuse staff who proffer me a croissant I didn’t order, then insist I move one place to the left, for no discernable reason whatsoever. I excuse myself on the phone to my friend and move to the left.Next another staff member picks my bag from beneath my chair and hangs it up, without asking. Finally, I am asked if I would like to move again, to a newly vacated table in the corner.I would have preferred just to enjoy my coffee in peace.
