Darvish Traditional Persian Tea House and Restaurant

About

Located close to the centre of Roundhay in Leeds, Darvish is a small, family friendly restaurant. Darvish restaurant opened in March 2005 and is located on Roundhay Road in Leeds. Originating from ancient Persian, Darvish is named after ascetics, whose focus is on the universal values of love and service. Darvish's interior also reflects its classic origins with the majority of the decor purchased from Iran, including handmade carpets and cookware. With most ingredients also sourced from Iran and saffron used in all dishes, the result is beautifully fragranced classic Persian dishes to suit every palate. Darvish has received some excellent reviews from online publications such as The Vegan Punk and Yorkshire Evening Post. It has also attracted a number of celebrity dinners, such as Phill Jupitus, who tweeted his thoughts on the food and Keith Lemon, who left this concise summary of his experience.
