We went out of our way to visit this restaurant, located quite far at Turnpike Lane. It was supposed to be one of those far gems that would make the long ride worth it. The restaurant ambiance is dull but I would have tolerated it had the food been good. The service was good, yet the food was very mediocre. Too much chillis scattered across the dishes adding an unnecessary fiery taste to OK dishes. The rice was good and the naan was good, but it takes much more to seal the deal for me. The restaurant failed at even serving a good korma; a basic Indian staple dish. 2/5 and never coming here again for sure. 20 a person.
I held a celebration here with 10 people. The place was comfy, with a diverse clientele, everyone loved the food and we took lots home, and best of all the service was OUTSTANDING. We all agreed to leave the biggest tip ive left. And im American! 😉
Shame it’s gone downhill. I used to really enjoy going here but on my last visit ordered the ‘traditional chicken curry’ and it was absolutely laden with MSG (mono sodium glutamate). I was up half the night with it. I guess they must have a new (lazy) chef- will not be going back 🙁

Went here for the first time this week. And will definately go back. Don’t be put off by the scruffiness of turnpike lane cos inside the deco is very clean and tidy. The food was excellent and not expensive for the quality.
FABULLOUS. I have been in this restaurant for many times. In 2 years they increese more and more the quality. Had trid many different indian restaurants in London, but NEVER found one like this.Faulous food. The taste is real India! Resonable prices. Excellent service.Is far my BEST RESTAURANT IN LONDON!
Really Good indian. Went with my brother, he’s a regular there.Very reasonably priced. Didn’t bother with the menu, ‘bring us food for 4 (number as applicable)’Lots of fish, beautifly cooked, possibly the biggest prawns I’ve ever seen!
