Compelled to write this as I don’t understand why only 2.9 out of 5 score when not a single review posted. If anyone doesn’t rate this place, I’d be curious why not.I’ve only been once but it was excellent. Just too cheap and oversized portions; hardly a complaint.Even though grilled meats and kebaps feature in this cafe/restaurant, they also have fish and plenty of vegetarian dishes.I had aubergine stew with a mountain of rice which was awesome. And cheap. But with ALL the complimentary extras (lentil soup, mixed salad, tzatziki) I couldn’t finish the meal -let alone try any other dishes.Next visit I’d like to start working my way through the starters.Decor is standard cafe style and it would be nice if they added some tablecloths or had some curtains which would make evening dining more attractive. This is all I’d change. They didn’t have any fizzy drinks when I went but had yoghurt drink (which I didn’t try as I had it elsewhere and it was too salty), freshly pulped orange juice and tea which was like Turkish tea -served nice and strong and unsugared (how I like it). No alcohol but I guess that’s just not their bag; when in Rome..Service was friendly and attentive. The waitress didn’t know which were the traditional Kurdish dishes but checked we had everything and that we were content.Due to all the complimentary dishes, despite only having one dish -and one of the cheapest at that- I was completely stuffed and the bill was disproportionately low. Basically, I had a slap-up meal for the cost of 2 pints. Bonkers, really. Plan to go back tomorrow
