After going to my new local for few months I can say that I’m quite fond of this place. The ex inn is a delightful pub with rooms and corridors that follow each other in a carosel of music and laughter. The crowd is young and happy, the staff friendly, the beers excellent (when they have it I love the Dark Matter) and the food is outstanding. So far I tryed the lamb burger, few times, massive and flavourful; the pizza chips, tasty but with little toppings; the fried calamari, tender and delicious, but with too much greasy batter. On Monday there is the pub quiz night and during the weekend a lot of people gather here, so expect these days to be overcrowded.
Has excellent range of ales, constantly changing, on tap. The food we’ve had has always been really tasty, if not high end / Hampstead / Crouch End type quality – the prices are not as high though as you’d pay for such things elsewhere.
