£4.95 for 7 pieces of scampi! I know it’s not the cheapest seafood around but really!!! Chips tasted ok but only very average.
Whenever I’ve been here, everything seems to take an age. The fish is tasty and the chips standard stuff, but throw anything else into the order (like a pineapple fritter) it seems to send the operation into meltdown.
Had several take outs lately, never been disappointed. My orders are usually cooked to order, I have been in various times and nights and the service is always good and food delicious.
The fish has always been good here and the battered sausage is also good but the chips can be a bit on the soggy side at times. If they were more crispy then this would be a great chip shop.
