About
Nestled inside Headingley Enterprise and Arts Centre (HEART), away from the hustle and bustle of Headingley, Assembly Bar + Kitchen (formerly the HEART Cafe) offers hot drinks, craft beers, fresh cakes, and a range of freshly made food using local produce, including veggie/vegan options and all day breakfasts. The space features changing art displays and has an enclosed courtyard. HEARTs vision is to create a vibrant and welcoming space for a wide range of people to meet, mix, work and play. Easy access for people with disabilities is a priority and we will always do what we can to ensure the centre is accessible to all. We pride ourselves on being family and breastfeeding friendly. Assembly Bar + Kitchen is a great place to grab a coffee or lunch with family or friends, a creative place to hold a business meeting and a perfect hideaway for an after work drink. Open Monday - Saturday 8am - 9pm, and later on event nights. Changes to weekly opening times are displayed by the entrance.Details

Meeting up with friends in this great space, the food was gorgeous, quick service even though there were quite a few of us. Tasty cakes and a lovely atmosphere. A hidden gem in Headingley well worth a visit.
Saturday evening at 19:30, very busy. Fantastic selection of ales, music is a little loud and if you get in the wrong spot, there is competition between the snug and the main room which then becomes a noise. Well worth a visit.
