I used this excellent little restaurant several times whilst shopping in Norwich, but sadly it has now (July 2015) closed. The same owners have now converted it to a fast-food outlet (wraps). Such a shame.
Disappointed to see that this restaurant seems to be closing? I’ve eaten there on several occasions, the food is great and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
On our first visit to Norwich we did not have any knowledge of good places to eat so chose Aslans Den at random. It turned out to be a good descision. Great welcome, great food, and a lot of it . A good overall experience.
I had a falafel wrap, and my girlfriend had meatballs. It was a great lunch, the only problem was prices, there was a board outside saying lunch from £6 but none of the options had a price.
Walked in off the street didn’t know what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and excellent food. Menu was good with lots of veggie options. Great value for money great service and attention. Wld definitely come back and recommend to others.
it’s a small restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, great food from light lunches to more filling main meals. Very friendly welcome from the owner[ I assume]. It is interesting and special in a city full of franchise bog standard eateries- they deserve to do well.
loved it but was disappointed with the pita bread. Wish it was home made especially for this type of restaurant.
