PLEASE NOTE THIS CAFE HAS RECENTLY CHANGED HANDS.....DO COME AND TRY US We have recently taken over the helm at The Vine House Cafe at Helmsley Walled Garden. Using produce from the Walled Garden where possible as well as meat and vegetables from local suppliers we offer beautifully presented fresh food (vegetarian meals always available), along with homemade cakes and seriously good coffees. As well as traditional items such as Yorkshire platter, ham sandwiches and homemade soups we also have a constantly changing specials board with choices such as: Harissa marinated Prawn Platter. Melon, Feta, Chilli and Pomegranate Platter. Pasta Alla Puttonesca Tacos de Pollo The cafe is housed in Victorian Glass Houses with vines running through it and has a large outside area with tables and seating so you can sit back and enjoy views of the gardens along with Helmsley Castle. It is one of Helmsley's best kept secrets, just a 5 minute walk from the centre of town. There is disabled parking to the rear and the cafe along with The Walled Garden itself is wheelchair friendly. We are lucky to have lots of space so pushchairs are not a problem and we are dog friendly. (We usually have a dog biscuit on hand to keep the boss happy!) Our stunning venue can be hired after 6pm for private events and parties. Just call to discuss your requirements.
