Amazing Food!. We visited the Fish and Wine Restaurant a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t recommend it enough!! The service was friendly and helpful throughout the night. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection! We got the hake and monkfish for mains which were both amazing. The chocolate terrine is a must when you visit! We’ll be back!

Wonderful local fish restaurant. I love this restaurant! So good to have excellent food but even much better to feel like your custom is appreciated and valued. A proper local restaurant where, if you’re lucky, the restauranteur will spend time chatting to you about food and everything beyond. Did I mention that the food was sooooo good? But that has been a small part of the lovely nights out I have had here. My new go to local restaurant.08 Apr, 2015Fish and Wine. I love this restaurant! Excellent!!!. My husband and I ate here last week and had a lovely meal – I loved the prawn spring roll! The monkfish was very good as well. We are already booking our next dinner here – a welcome addition to the neighborhood, which lacks solid, better-quality restaurants.

Delicious fresh fish. Our party of six thoroughly enjoyed their dinner. Great atmosphere, service, and delicious fresh fish. We had most things on the menu: the lovely scallops, the monkfish, the hake, and the very rare turbot. Puddings were equally original and tasty, especially the figs. The restaurant is a great addition to the neighbourhood, the cost reasonable, so we will definitely come again!

Valentines Day at Fish & Wine. It was my first visit to Fish & Wine Restaurant, The food was very tasty with portions that were just right and very well presented. The service was excellent warm & friendly staff , Brilliant Atmosphere , nice Dcor and soft background music. I would highly recommend this cute little restaurant to anyone looking for somewhere to go for a delicious meal in South London….You will not be disappointed.

Great Restaurant. This is a great new restaurant for the Herne Hill area with lovely waiting staff and tasty food. The queen scallops were delicious (they’re meant to be small, but they were perfectly cooked) and oven roasted figs succulent. The range of fish is great and very fresh. Looking forward to eating there again soon.

Poor service and clothes stink after!. My husband treated me as a surprise for this new place in town. I had high expectations given the price, and the 100% votes!???! The lady upon booking was rude and in fact, in person needs to really work on customer skills .., her smile somewhat sarcastic… Avoid the scallops! They are the size of large peas!! Dreadful. The monkfish was good – we both had that. As the restaurant packed out the food smell was wafting and by the time we left we smelt like we had been in a greasy cafe. Not what I hoped for – but very poor ventilation. Dessert … Okish but when something says oven roasted figs it does conjure up whole plump warm figs .., instead I was hand a cold plate of figs cut into quarters!!! Personally – we wouldn’t go back. If you want to pay that money pop up The Ivy when it opens back up.
