Very cute little cafe. We headed here for late lunch – it is very popular and we were sat in the window until another seat became available. The staff seemed run off their feet – I think we were there the day after an article appeared in the evening standard so they got slammed!! They have an excellent non alcoholic drink selection. I had a lovely not too sweet elderflower presse. The food was prompt and good sized portion. We order the English salad – out of curiosity and it was curious, yummy but curious! I got the croquettes – which were yummy if not a wee bit over cooked. It came served with shoe string fried which were extra crunchy and some salad – which was a bit sad looking with tonnes of dressing but I think they were running out of food as we overhead the table next to us that the kitchen was closed. We were a lite disappointed with the food – as we had high expectations. We did get a brownie each for the wait. We’ll give it another go (if we ever see it without a queue) and probably try one of the breakfast dishes next time – they looked amazing!!!!
