My local Italiano and my favourite by a very long way. I’ve eaten here so many times over the years and I’ve never been less than impressed by the genius of their ever changing menus. The wine list has grown with confidence to keep up with the kitchen. Friendly and attentive service. Best of all, two increasingly rare things that work in their favour – they take bookings (hallelujah!) and there’s no music to compete with the conversation. Cannot recommend the place more highly.

Poppedin for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by this pleace. Very delicious food. All done carefully. Reallly cant fault it.I had leeks with almonds and then the lamb. Perfect.

My partner and I had a fantastic evening at Trullo, with a beautiful Italian inspired seasonal menu (given, a small one at that) the Pappardelle with beef shin ragu was an absolute delight! Despite it being a Monday evening it was surprisingly packed, so ensure to book in advance to avoid disappointment.A vlog of our experience can be found on our YouTube channel: Interestaurants

Great service, great food. We went for Sunday lunch which has a fixed menu of four courses for about 30 a head. Lamb shoulder slow cooked, pulled apart and then baked in bread served with chard in a tomato and anchovy sauce was memorably good. Reliable, classy – but not stuffy – this is a great place to revisit.

Plaice with beetroot. Serioulsy oversalted30 Sep, 2011Plaice with beetroot. The plaice was serioulsy oversalted30 Sep, 2011Dinner review. One evening this week my husband and I took my daughter and her sister and boyfriend to Trullo’s. We were disappointed. The plaice was seriously oversalted, the beef one of my daughter’s had was raw as opposed to medium rare and the partridge was pink and very under done and the lentils that accompaned it were oversalted. We were very predispoed to enjoying the evening since it was the daughters birthday but given the bill was over 100 the standard of cooking really should have been higher.
