Favourite place to go to Instagram worthy pictures of ice cream given their cutesy decor and swing inside. They do amazing toppings, love their idea of running a flavour of the month contest, god knows I’ve tried and failed every month I’m in London but hey! It’s worth the shot
A local ice cream place which sells really nice flavours which always change. I always by the big tub to take home and highly recommend the chocolate and the hazelnut flavours!
On my continued quest for the perfect ice cream, we dropped by this place recently and I had the banana caramel and peanut butter. The flavors were very good, the scoop size decent and even the cones were tasty!
Udderlicious is one of the best independent ice cream places I’ve been to in London. I like the fact that they are not part of a chain and that they make their ice cream daily. They have classic flavors and also make their own which is pretty cool because they have nice creations like elderflower and lemon sorbet which is delicious! The shop is really cute, they’ve made it look rustic with wooden chairs and a swing for two. The people who work here are super nice and if you can’t chose what you want, they let you taste any flavors you’re curious about and they’re really patient even if there’s a line.
Who doesn’t love ice cream, especially when it’s a family-owned store that’s actually open after dinner so you can have dessert *out*? Such is the premise behind Udderlicious, a small ice cream shop on Islington’s Upper Street. My favourite flavour is their salted caramel, but the dark chocolate and sea salt sorbet also calls to me on occasion. The shop also makes brownie sundaes and banana splits, for all you die-hard ice cream lovers out there (ahem, me). A lovely place with an adorable seating area where you can enjoy your ice cream and people watch from the shop window. angloyankophile.com
This is place to go to if none of the desserts look appetizing in the restaurant that youre in. Or even if you see something you like, skip it and come here anyway, cos this is probably better. The ice cream here is one of the best Ive tasted in London, with the Nutella, raspberry cheesecake and white chocolate flavours being personal favourites. However, the price of it being 4.80 for two scoops stops me from visiting frequently. The shop is tiny too and there is limited seating, so if you fancy coming here make sure to dress warmly so you can carry the ice cream around in the winter weather without getting frostbite.
Insanely good flavours on offer here at this unique ice-creamery. The for out is quaint and inviting with a real modern farmhouse feel. There’s even a swinging chair you can settle into (if you can ever find it empty!) Feel free to try any flavour to help you decision and there are also a number of toppings on offer should you desire. The best part? Suggest a flavour to be made and you could win ‘Flavour of the Month’. You get your picture on the wall, they make your flavour and best of all you win a months supply of free icecream (i’m still yet to win…). londonbrekkies.wordpress.com
