This place has such a great location and atmosphere, but the slow service and terrible food quality detracts from the enjoyment. I, along with others, waited 15 minutes to get served just to get a drink. When I food arrived, it was incorrect, dry and tasteless. Definitely not returning.

Food was terrible! Sunday roast was 2 thin slivers of over cooked beef with frozen vegetables and the smallest Yorkshire pudding. Service lacked communication and any form of organisation. My friend had finished his meal and his plate cleared before I received mine. The courtyard is a lovely area but I will not be coming back as it is not worth the frustration. Management, kitchen and wait staff need a massive wake up call because that was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.

Went for lunch on a Sunday, the website says the Vineyard opens at 10am on Sundays, we arrived at 1145 and it was still closed with one employee sitting outside smoking – who informed us they open at 12.00pm.Service was very slow at the bar, despite there being very few people in the restaurant as it had just opened 10min prior. Upon ordering food, we were informed there was only Roast beef for today, which is fine- but when it came out the meat was tough and over cooked and the veg tasted watery and like it had been in the freezer too long. One of my friends found a best before sticker stuck to the underside of her slice of beef, another friend was informed 20min after ordering that they didnt have any veggie burgers left…. there was also no smoothies etc available, the food took 45min to arrive and only half of it came, we had to ask again if the rest was coming to which the response was, i don’t know… we’ll check. Overall, the only thing this place has going for it is the outside sitting area, don’t bother otherwise.
