I seem to eat here about once a month, and over the last year have seen a marked improvement in what was already good service and good food. Four of us ate here on Friday 23rd July 2010, and even though we arrived at about 2230, the staff were extremely pleasant and in no hurry to serve us and get off home. The good food, great wine, relaxed atmosphere, and attentive staff made for an excellent post theatre meal.27 Nov, 2009I really like this place. Unpretentious, good quality food, served by intelligent helpful staff in pleasant surroundings. The staff seem to be very knowledgeable about allergies and intolerances. Having said that, I went for the third time last Thursday evening, and the waitress was a bit dim; asked if a chorizo dish contained gluten, I was told that it did. Red snapper with risotto was suggested as the gluten-free option. Guess what? The risotto had chorizo in it!
Nice Staff, Not so nice food. I regulary dine in sheffield and I have visited this establishment many times before but I have to say its not half as good as it used to be.The food used to be very good with lovely tastes and textures, but on my last few visits I have been dissapointed and do not think that I will return in the future.
