Mr. M. From the recent few times of visit Noodle inn on London Road, I found out that they must changed all the chefs. Where them old chefs gone? They were really good in cooking. Do they work Noodle inn on Westfield terrace now?
Has something changed at the noodle inn? Not for the better that’s for sure.. As I have done many times before I went to the noodle inn on London Road in Sheffield today 4thApril 2015 for a meal with my wife and son. We have been there many times and have always had good service and food. Today alas was not so. We went in and ordered Chinese tea and a diet coke. The diet coke came within 5 minutes, the tea hasn’t made an appearance after 25 to 30 minutes and they had to be reminded it had been ordered and not delivered! Not good customer service. Next the food arrived in three widely spaced intervals, again not particularly good but they were a little busy (but I have been there when they have been a lot busier and had better service) . I ordered 4 treasures with egg fried rice and the meat with boiled rice arrived. I sent it back for the correct rice. It came back 5 minutes or so later with the meat very obviously decanted from one plate to the other with little finesse, it was barely warm when it arrived so back it went again. Another 5 minutes and back it came again. This time it had been microwaved to warm it with the rice hard and dried as it does in the microwave and the meat also somewhat dry by now as well. I told them I was not happy so I was offered 10% off my main meal but with no offer to replace the unappetising reheated meal on the plate in front of me, presumably I was expected to just eat it and take the 10%which would have been a whole 90p off the bill. At that point I told them to just take it away as I had totally lost my appetite and sat there drinking my tea while my wife and son ate their meal. We asked for the bill and they did point out they did not charge for my meal but they did charge for everything else including the tea I was left to drink while the rest of my family ate their meal. They made no offer to replace my meal when I refused the microwaved meal. They equally made no attempt to even give me the tea for nothing by way of an apology for the very poor service indeed. Appalling customer service and we will not be eating there ever again, shame as I used to recommend it to people. That also will never happen again.

Loved it but don’t take your own beer. Get the aubergine dish, it’s superb. Even better get a big bunch of you and order loads of stuff!
A Sheffield classic. Excellent food at great prices in this buzzing place. Full of Chinese students from the two uni’s.
It’s the best Chinese in Sheffield I alway take family & friends their!! Fresh & tasty food every time!
Noodle inn is fab. Doesn’t look like much when you first walk in, but if you want steaming hot, great quality Chinese food this is where to come. BYOB policy makes it insanely cheap. Be prepared to wAit fir table at weekend
