Fantastic Restaurant. I visited Rise of the Raj last week with my roommate. I enjoyed the food and the service. The food was so good that I have to go back again soon. The staff were very presentable and helpful. I highly reccomend Rise of the Raj.
Excellent food, and fantastic service. I have been to Rise of the Raj quite a handful of times and I cannot resist going back. The food is always first class and the place is clean. The atmosphere is friendly and it seems like everyone knows each other. Whenever I go to the restaurant , I feel relaxed , laid-back and just enjoy the food. My favourite dish at Rise of the Raj is Chicken Jalfrize because I love to taste spice but there is also less-spicy dishes for people who detest spicy food. Along with the food the service is also fantastic. I strongly recommend Rise of the Raj.
Great original indian food!. Really tasty food served in a well staffed, atmospheric restaurant. I went with my mother and my family to celebrate mother’s day and we all enjoyed ourselves very much, especially my mother. I think it is perfect for a family day out and also for a private party as they have a seperate function room. Can’t wait to try them again. I highly reccomend rise of the Raj.
Best indian food that I have tasted… I have recently visited Rise of the Raj. The food was brilliant and the atmoshpere was wonderful. The service was fast and the staff were helpful & friendly. I am definatly re-visiting Rise of The Raj. It is the best Indian restaurant in Leicester.
Marvellous food. After reading all the recommendations for attending rise of the raj, i decided to visit the restaurant ,myself . I was not disappointed and i found myself agreeing with all of the positive comments. I personally think the food is fresh and it sends chills to my tastebuds. The service is absolutely brilliant. I also think that the staff are helpful and trained to the best of their abilities. I will definately be planning to visit again with pleasure. I highly reccomend rise of the raj if you desire to devour excellent cuisine.
Mr Smith. This restaurant creates an authentic Indian atmosphere and the food exemplifies brilliance and will leave your tastebuds craving for more. The lamb here is exquisite and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Furthermore, the service here consists of a freindly nature and high professionalism.
Rise of the Raj has been in Leicester for years, and in my opinion is the best Indian restaurant in central Leicester. Very traditional. Food is great, they have most of the traditional dishes but it’s their original dishes that stand out. Quality of ingredients is excellent, in 7 years of eating there I’ve never experienced anything apart from lamb and chicken that stands out from everyone else. Service is also very good, although the food is better. Prices at the high end for Leicester but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.
