Nice enough looking pub but not a great range of beers and drinks are generally overpriced. The music can get irritating if rock n roll isnt your thing, and hearing about The Libertines playing a secret show here months ago does get pretty boring. There are a mixture of strange regulars and wannabe trendies, and the pub holds themed nights which can be quite pretentious. The major problem are the bouncers and staff who are incredibly rude, disrespectful and dont make customers feel valued, and the food which is bad quality and not worth the money. Not the worse pub but very far from being the best a quick drink and move on!
A few weeks ago I was invited to see a few bands playing at The Boogaloo. The magnificent, majestic atmosphere brought me back in time a couple of years; the lovely music reflected The Boogaloo’s style and enlightened it in many ways. My favourite decorative elements are the quotes written across the walls, they really engaged me and attracted my attention; as well as the eye-catching jukebox and retro lights. Unfortunately, I did not really get to eat anything as I had already eaten something before going there; the event was late at night.
