  The place is very spacious with Pool table and video game counters.Staff is friendly and can give a twist to menu if requested.Loved the malibu glass served, as it was in a coconut shell…Food is also relinquishing…only disappointment is music of the 80’s and 90’s…

  I thought I would try this place out as a change from the usuals. I must say I was very surprised. From the outside the Stanton Social Club doesn’t really look like a food place. More like some kind of warehouse. Never-the-less, once inside you are greated by the bar at 1st. The staff were friendly and the drinks selection is good. My husband was was driving so he was on the Softs. They had an offer for half price sizzlers as it was a Monday night. My husband and I both placed an order for a Mixed Sizzler and some lamb sheek kebabs to start with. I was glad to read on their menu that only Chicken breast meat is used in their currys. The sizzler was superb! Really good. All the meat was cooked properly with no fatty bits or excessive on-the-bone meat. After the mixed sizzler and kebabs we were almost full. We decided to share a curry with some rice and a naan. I choose the Murgha Makhi (Butter Chicken). The dish was as described with chicken breast pieces in a very unique sauce. The atmosphere of the Stanton Social Club was calm and relaxed. Not really a romantic atmosphere, but thats makes the place perfect for a general night out with great food. My advice is try it, you will like it!
