Smoked haddock risotto. Anne collins has failed to point out is that her reviews are based upon not being able to submit multiple discount vouchers for a @free meal’ this despite being advised of the terms of the voucher the day before . All meals were checked during and after the meal due to the customers behaviour during the evening. They asked if they could have split bills/seperate tables for the four of them and push them together and various other suggestions in an attempt to use vouchers. What then followed was verbal abuse towards the staff who then decided to have them leave the restaurant as soon as possible.Some of the group were subscribed to our database and therefore we have their details on file.We have since unsubscribed them from the mailing list and they are no longer welcome at the restaurant. I would recommend any other restaurants encountering this group who book under collins/bacon or lapworth to avoid. They are currently attempting to post multiple negative reviews. please feel free to call Barnacles should you require to know more about the kind of customer no business wants.
Not much. Had poor food and service last night
A bit expensive but the food is v good.
A good selection of starters and lobster based main courses however the remainder of the menu was very plain. Most main courses are based soley on selecting a type of fish then served with seasonal veg and the chefs sauce of the day. Very limited and disappointing overall.
