Wonderful Bubbly Lunch. After a thirsty morning of shopping i decided to head to The Grill on the Square (Blackhouse) for lunch. I only wanted something light so decided to choose off their new lunch menu. I chose my regular dish of choice; chicken caesar salad and was surprised to learn that the 12.50 included a glass of bubbly (a lunchtime treat). The chicken was warm, the lettuce crisp and croutons plentiful! Anyone wanting a spot of lunch – I would definitely recommend The Grill on the Square!
Great food… fantastic service!. I visited Blackhouse with my partner in April. It’s our fave place in Leeds! The Steak is always cooked to perfection… and the live music makes it such a fabulous atmosphere! Our waiter was extremely attentive as always. It always gets really busy at the weekends… so we made sure we made our booking early as to not be disappointed. We will be back very soon!!
Great Food!. Enjoyed a fantastic New Years meal with the boyfriend. The atmosphere was wonderful, really lively and the food was great. As a bit of a fussy eater I like to change things around with the menu and this was no issue for the waiter which is good. I hate it when they make me feel bad.The musician was playing some real crowd pleasers. I good venue I’m looking forward to going back to again.28 Nov, 2012Lovely Meal!. Fantastic meal with friends, we were visiting for the weekend and Blackhouse was receommended by our concierge. They were fully booked but he managed to get us a table.Lively place, friendly servers and cocktails to die for… what more could you want!
Good food and service. Very friendly staff and a nice atmosphere, very lively.had a very enjoyable meal. not many veggie choices but not an issue for our party! good wine selection as well
Great food, best service ever had in Leeds. Had a lovely meal with my boyfriend as a pay day treat. Plenty of meaty options for him, the massive steak lover. I had a more girlie option of goats cheese followed by seard tuna.The service was great, really friendly and chatty but left us to it as well. Offered great wine advice as the list is fairly extensive. The place was packed so we moved to a table outside after our meal to finish our drinks.They have live music on every night which we enjoyed singing along with. Great food/Service. Service in this place is the best I have ever seen. From the start we were treated like VIP’S. Thanks emma you made us feel like you we were the only people in the restaurant.And for the food, mussels starter followed by 225g Ribeye with homecut chips. WOW. Best in leeds…
