Disappointed overall.What to order: Steak, they offer very good cuts. But they are not worth the price, sauces are average (the kind of stuff you’d get out of Wetherspoons), the chips were good, nothing special.When to go: I believe they do discounts on cocktails, so maybe Firday evenings? It’s a great place for co-workers and couples alike.What makes it unique: Very nice decor
Visited on a busy Friday night without a reservation but we were found a table quite quickly. Water was brought to the table while we ordered, followed by our drinks and bread. Our waitress was great, always checking we were ready for each course, didn’t feel rushed. The food was very good, well cooked steaks and hot accompaniments. Wine was regularly topped up. Pianist was a great addition, helped the lovely buzzy atmosphere I prefer in a restaurant.
Mmmmmh Steak Sandwich!!!. Wonderful meal at The Grill on the Square. I visited on Tuesday for a spot of lunch and was nothing other than pleasantly surprised at the feast before my eyes. A steak sandwich resembling a pie and home made chips in a basket. Great food, great people, and great service. Plus, i’ve hear its live music on an evening! Will certainly be heading back!
