I had a fabulous time at Dish last weekend, being my first time, I was surprised how I haven’t come across Dish before! We walked in for some cocktails which were delightful and refreshing! We were hungry and decided to have an early meal and weren’t disappointed at all! The black pudding salad, pork/chilli sausages and treacle tart were perfect and I can’t wait to try out their lunch menu! I will be back soon
Amazing Night. Had a fantastic night at Dish on Saturday, Called in just for a quick drink and before we knew it (plus 3 grog punches later) we went down into a busy vibrant restaurant. Squeezed in a table of 4 and was so impressed with everything we received. The Monkfish Cheeks for starters was just amazing, the starter is a must for anyone! Main, i couldn’t help but go for the Hanger Steak, cooked nice and tender, just perfect. To finish i had coffee and doughnuts, an absolute dream, you must try this!Service from the bar to the girls in the restaurant was professional but done in a relaxed manner, which just made us feel at home, can’t recommend enough, you have to try Dish!!
Great night at Dish!. Dish has now moved to 19 Boar Lane opposite Trinity shopping centre. It’s in a great central spot and myself and my work colleagues often pop in on our lunch break for a sandwich or one of their great burgers. I usually go for the venison burger. It is served with triple cooked chips or wedges and onion rings, delicious! Their lunch menu is reasonably priced and served quickly, which is what you want when you only have an hour. We have often rang ahead with our pre order when we have been stuck for time. The bar is also great for cocktails and they do 241 cocktails fri evening 5-7pm. Dish os definitely worth a visit. There is a dining room downstairs which we have yet to try.
