My favourite thing about my whole dining experience at Gaucho was the experience and attitude of the staff. Everybody that I spoke to was knowledgeable and able to make recommendations as they understood the food they were serving. The food itself was beautiful with my steak being perfectly cooked (I asked for rare) and the steak knife wasn’t even necessary as it cut like butter! The mushroom sauce I chose was lovely and salad finished the whole meal off nicely! One of the best bits of the meal was a dipping sauce served with the breads that was some sort of salsa/pico de galo, I could happily have just had that as a steak sauce! Raw scallops to start were wonderful! As I’m not a drinker I asked for a virgin cocktail and the barman was more than happy to create something to my tastes which gives gaucho even more points.
