LovingCantonese food, I had to try this place. I ordered takeaway as well as I have been to the restaurant as a guest a few times and it was always good. Deliveries always arrived after a short wait and the food was of good quality. The service in the restaurant is welcoming and attentive. They do have a very large menu and cover different areas in Asia, which makes it sometimes quite difficult to decide. The food never disappointed and this is definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants in the area.
I had previously ordered happily from Round Square until this evening when after an hour waiting for my order (placed online) I called to check where it was. In the end, to get my food I had to make four (progressively angry) phone calls, wait two and a half hours (without apology or reimbursement of any kind from the manager) and was then ‘rewarded’ with bland, soggy and barely warm food. I will never order from them again and would advise everyone else to also avoid at all costs.
