AMAZING!!!!!. I love this place! We visited by chance on a day out and couldn’t be happier. We were greeted with friendly faces and given a comfy seat at the bar whilst waiting for our table. We were given complimentary olives and bread. The BBQ ribs were TO DIE FOR!!! And the pizzas were cooked to absolute perfection. Topped off with friendly music and a free shot of lemon chello at the end of the night. Will be going back!
Under average. We eat out all around calderdale, kirklees and west yorkshire in general so we have a good knowledge of an average meal. After eating there today we will not be returning after an overpriced and hugely bland meal. The order was wrong for both of us and the food was no better than a cafe on a main road. The staff are polite but after two people asked us if the meal was ok we explained why it wasn’t and they said ok but did nothing. We have no issues with the staff but why keep asking if the meal is ok if they dont know what to do if its not. Another restaurant of a bloated price and poor food.

About as Italian as Dixon’s ice-cream. This is a very English catering version of Italian food.I didn’t see one Italian person in the kitchen or amongst the waiting staff.It’s telling that the owner speaks of his time in a restaurant on a cruise ship and has a photo of it on their website rather than his time in Italy and his passion for the food and culture.I wouldn’t bother ……. the food was OK, nothing more nothing less.
This place is the worst place ever! Food was shocking and service was rude and unatentive.
When I went I enjoyed superb service, great recommendations from the waiting staff who were attentive, helpful and very friendly right from when I walked in the door I enjoyed a garlic bread and complementary olives, and then an amazing Pizza Bianco which is a non tomato based white pizza with rocket, goats cheese, roasted peppers, roasted courgette and parmesan ahavings This pizza is an absolute must if you visit, and the chef is a genius for putting together a pizza like this with no tomato being involved. Overall a superb experience that I enjoyed so much I will be driving the fourty five minute journey to eat there again If you are in or near Holmfirth and want real food cooked by a real chef then stop off at piccolinos and enjoy… Recommended
