Went there this lunchtime at 3pm and the place was empty. not that we bothered. tried the lunch set menu vegetarian spring rolls not fresh mushy and average taste. 1.5 spare ribs salad and rice. the 1.5 spare ribs were soooooo old and dry….1 vermicelli tofu…Oh GOD…even pigs wouldn’t eat that. but as adventurous as I am i tried a bit of the old disgusting fried rubber and the bad cabbage too. we will never go back there….waste of time and money.

One of Victoria Park Villages best kept secret. The hot and sour soups are to die for and they have a great red wine list.Yet to have a bad dish and the specials are changed regularly.Good staff who always have a friendly smile!

We hadva dinner at namo on a weekday. I had a tofu rice noodle. It was ok but didnt feel like vietnamese food. And my mum had veggies and tofu on a clay pot. Sheaaid it tasted like they put bunch of vegetables togeyher and microeaved it. Plus the portions are tiny and you have to buy the rice seperately. It is very pricy for the small portions. The service was quick and it was clean. But i wouldnt go to namo again…. the food doesnt worth tje money.

Style over substance. This is meant to be Vietnamese with a modern twist, the modern twist being the distinctive lack of taste and a hefty service charge. The dishes that i had was the soft shell crab, which was the highlight of the meal and thanks to the Tamarind sauce had taste. The main was a Vietnamese claypot, which was quite tasteless and the seafood was very chewy. I also recieved the a vegetable curry when the main first came out and had to inform them that that is not what i had ordered. They also add a hefty service for customer service that is basic at best.

A very modest restaurant. However, should you have been lucky enough to visit it’s sister restaurant you’ll be sorely disappointed. Simple dishes such as pancake and morning glory are drab and more expensive for a much lesser quantity. Perhaps due to location? In summary, a vastly underperforming veitnamese considering the price tag. Advice, Green Papaya or Huong Viet.

Brilliant food! Nice atmosphere and the people who work there are efficient and nice. You have to wait a while for your food, but it’s worth the wait.
