  Once again, the food was absolutely delicious, especially the Desi Prawns!!Been going there for over 15 year and never let down!!Established since 1984, well… that says a lot. A friendly family run business. Consistently very good. Would defo recommend a try!!

  Great food at good prices. We have purchased food from this restaurant twice, and it works out to be of excellent quality, and at a price that doesn’t burn our pockets like a nearby competitor does. I even find the food better here than the chain of Indian restaurants near us. You just want to stuff your face but before you know it, you are full and this feeling of fullness actually lasts long enough, to stop us wanting to snack or eat more. We normally have food for the next day, too, and it surprisingly tastes great even on day 2. We ordered tikka masala, paneer, eggplants, parathas, chapattis, as I can’t eat rice readily. I am a firm believer in good food and will come back here simply on taste alone, and also for the freshest ingredients here. They say that you are what you eat. It’s places like this one, that will enable us to live better lives thanks to the quality.Firm thumbs up, and again, the prices are the best in Hornsey, now that we are living in more stringent times.A +++++++++

  So I’ve been eating at Elahee for years both in the restaurant and takeaway. The food and service was always first class, couldn’t beat it. So today my girlfriend and I bought a takeaway as usual. Her butter chicken was very plain and instead of just lumping it we decided to see if they could do anything about it. We called through and they sent a korma but we had to pay petrol (2) but fair doos. We sat down to eat and found all of the food was plain and way over salted, to the point where we couldn’t eat more and decided to phone up… We got a blas response and they said that it was fine, I even offered to pay petrol for them to come and taste it. Then in the background I heard them say just put down the phone. They said they couldn’t make more, or refund us or anything. I’m so disappointed. I only signed up on here so I could tell people this. They don’t care which is such a shame since they used to. What a waste of 15 and worse my favourite curry house turning it’s back on a customer that has recommended them to so many people.
