Parliament Restaurant is tucked away inside the historic Red Lion Hotel in Colchester, Essex. Built in 1465, this Grade I listed Tudor hotel is one of the oldest inns in East Anglia, and Parliament restaurant is located in the building's old banqueting hall. With exposed beam ceilings, wattle and daub walls and romantic mullioned windows it's a cosy place for enjoying meals with friends and family. The hotel has excellent transport links to the M11, M25, Stansted airport and Cambridge, and is also popular with business travellers. The hotel bar with plush red seats and comfy sofas is a top spot for pre-dinner drinks, and Parliament also offers an extensive wine list.
