We had an excellent time when we went. It’s unfortunate that he’s not around for the winter. Looking forward to Easter next year.
What you don’t get from John is rubblsh. Everything he produces is good if not yet very good. He’s not at all ‘precious’ with his menus and always does his best to please. Do go along for Sunday lunch. You won’t be disappointed!

The most amazing sunday roast, good wine, superb desserts and the best service you can hope for. Cant wait to go back. Thanks to John and his staff
A very big thankyou to John and his staff for another amazing evening at Chimes. It certainly made our 43rd wedding anniversary and my husbands 65th birthday celebrations special. As usual nothing to complain about, everything from the food to the service excellent. Thankyou once again !!
