This has an average of 2.2 as I write this review which I think is very unfair. This personally owned and run independent spot is charming, well knitted out with good home cooked food and lovely service and atmosphere. There’s an outdoor terrace and an upstairs area which are wonderful for parties. Lunch here is very good and they are well prepared to deal with gluten free requests…. A sign of fresh cooked food. I had my 30th birthday party here and the food options were wonderful. Calamari, chips, chicken skewers, and more! There is a downstairs toilet that functions as disabled as it is big enough to fit a wheelchair, which actually when I had my party was just a room! The bar is well stocked but generally they don’t do cocktails. Big shout out to the owner who surprised me with awesome cocktails during my party just because I’m a cocktail gal! All the cakes are homemade and they seem to be a big part of what makes it so very popular. Well worth a visit for lunch, coffee, breakfast or a party of any sort.
