Loved the ambience and the wait staff was outstanding. We were really pleased with the wine menu and cocktails were spot on! Pork belly special was amazing and cod balls were delish. Paella however was very underwhelming… absolutely flavorless and no socorrat at all. Most impressive was the Crema Catalina Foam. A superb dessert and perfect ending to a beautiful London evening!

I like this place. It feels authentic, good food, efficient service, good wine and nice service but I went a Monday weeknight so no mad rush from the massive population of white collars workers in the Wharf. A good hideout for the winter suitable for business meal, catch-up with friends or lover(s) ;p Recommend go for 3 tapas dishes each if super hungry but 2 if you just want a munchie. The iberica pork was so tender I’d have it any day.

Handsome space. We were a party of three for lunch and asked our Portuguese colleague to order tapas for the table.Fried squid with alioli was my favourite. Breaded and deep fried chorizo lollipops which came with pear alioli were great too. Asparagus toast was rich and cheesy and dressed with truffle oil and grilled green asparagus. The rest of our order was good but not outstanding. Pan con tomate was a good size portion that could have had more garlic rubbed into the bread for my taste. Padron peppers were lovely, but that is a dish that is pretty much impossible to mess up. Recipes for ham croquettes can vary, and these ones were cheesy and bechamel based rather than mashed potato based. Pleasant but a little too rich for me especially as we had the large portion with 12 croquettes. The Half and Half board of charcuterie and cheese was a generous filler and good value but nothing really special. It contained lomo, chorizo, fuet, manchego and a little quince jelly.I was happy with lunch and will gladly return. Drinking tap water, a big lunch was under 18 a head, so decent value. We arrived right at 12, and service was extremely prompt. Not sure if that would still be the case an hour later when the restaurant is full.

Rude, Ignorant, Poor food, even Worse Service. Staff could not handle a slow Tuesday, we waited an age for our first drink, our food was actually ready before we got our drinks. The cocktail barman had never heard of a Rossini or a Bellini. The food is unseasoned and the waitress scoffed when we asked for salt. The octopus I swear had the texture of vulcanized rubber. The staff with the exception of the host were very unpleasant, our waitress had a face you wouldn’t be fed up of slapping. The only smile we got was when we were handed the bill. We attempted to contact the restaurant to give feedback but they don’t reply to emails/messages. So if you fancy manky food for over the price while being insulted then this is for you. Up their own holes.

Good food for a reasonable (we are in London) price. We went there during the week in the evening and had a great time. Food was well cooked, the variety of tapas was ok and the wine was delicious. I do still prefer Fino’s tapas but that is a lot further away from CW. So looking at the area I think it is the best Spanish place in CW.
