I feel the closest to Indian food in Canary Wharf…
Let’s start with the basics – the way they spell the name of the place is incorrect. So it hardly comes as a surprise that they don’t get anything right on the menu either. Trust me I’ve given them a fair chance – have tried all of their roti rolls with all possible combination of chutneys. The simple fact is their food tastes bad – the chutneys are bland and sometimes the filling is under cooked. This place is best avoided..
Great food, and lovely lassis. A great break from all those burrito bars and fantastic Indian on the go. Amazing value for the top quality. Shame there are more around local to where I live else 1-2 times a week would be a must. The bottled lassis are a nice touch and the flavours are better than any available in the supermarkets. Could do with some seating but being a ‘shack’ and outdoors, I forgive them.
