To be honest didnt find this pub different from the many that dot London. Nice beers – house pours and regular beer specially the Heineken and Jaipur stand out. The staff are business like but I reckon they warm up if youre more regular in custom. The place overlooks the Thames and offers nice sights and a warm atmosphere. Go to experience a typical English pub with decent ambience and nice beer.
Ended up at this place during a random walk along the river. Lovely outside setting. Great bartenders and superb beers. Interiors are quirkly but very well done. While the beers on tap are standard brands and nothing much to talk about butI fell in love with their coffee. Good stuff
I’m not sure I’ve felt as comfy or welcomed in a pub as this one. Pepper is a great find hidden away on the Island. The worn arm chairs and candle light create a charming atmosphere before you’ve even ordered a drink. The food is seasonal and reasonably priced. For all Potter fans… if you imagine the Grythindor common room (with copious amounts of alcohol) then you’re about spot on. The red head behind the bar isn’t bad looking either.
