*Top picks* – Focaccia bread, truffle chipsEmojimeter (out of 5)Veg options: Portion size: Drinks: Located at the *ground floor* of the Pan Peninsula building, Capeesh is a quiet Italian eatery next to the South Quay DLR.One of my pet peeves in restaurants is tiny tables, with cutlery and tissues falling off the side in comical harmony. Capeesh squeezed into my good books with its luxurious and spacious tables. The service was prompt and the food arrived in good time. The nibbles were good – especially the focaccia and the cheesy truffle chips (or perhaps we were starving)! The portion sizes were quite big for the average London plate. For mains, we ordered the whole seabass, grilled chicken, pizza, ravioli and risotto. However the food overall lacked a bit of flavour. The restaurant also has a sky bar on the 48th floor which is accessible by an almost secret lift hidden behind several doors!namobytes – little bytes of insightThe panorama from the skybar is great for someone looking for drinks with a view but without a long queue! If you’re lucky (or speak to the restaurant manager) you can even get 241 cocktail vouchers!
