Situated just off Canada Square, The Pearson Room is in a convenient central location in Canary Wharf and an easy walk from the nearby businesses and stations. As a result, during a lunchtime visit one can typically expect a steady procession of suits and ties. The venue has a nice if somewhat simple layout and the menu is varied and includes a range of pastas, burgers, salads and steak. The service was efficient and fast, but not particularly personable, though this is perhaps for the better for a faster paced work lunch. Food came out fairly quickly and was again mostly agreeable, if not particularly long-lived in memory. In short, a good place for a passing quick lunch or team outing if you’re passing or working in the area.

Price of the food is considered fairly expensive, went there for the breakfast, had smoothie and muesli. The portion is large but I guess they charge a relative higher prices compare to other breakfast places in London. Average spend is about 15 per head for breakfast. Not many people there for breakfast. The environment is nice with plants around you, like sitting in the garden. But that’s the only thing I enjoy. Food is pretty ordinary and nothing too surprising in terms of taste or presentation.
Every time I think about The Pearson Room or go there, Im reminded of Suits. You the Pearson, Harvey and(I wont spoil it for you) law firm that we all love! And yes, this place really is full of suits. But hey, dont let that put you off because amidst all the smell of cologne and the Reebok gym next door, this place isnt bad. Walking through Waitrose you can hear the loud talking, laughing, chatting, yelling and so on. Located bang in the middle of Canary Wharf (Londons financial district), this is the place where everyone reconvenes after slaving in front of their spreadsheets. Hey, Im not judging! Just saying it how it is 😉 Im sure anyone who works around here would be well familiar with this place.So we decided to have dinner here. I love a good steak so had to order it. I mean surrounded by all this testosterone, surely they would do the steak some justice right? And they sure did! Really well cooked and seasoned meat served with salad (and generous amounts of cheese! :D) I was a happy bunny. Theyve updated their menu so it looks even more enticing.
